GCHS September and October Rotary Student of the Month

Ricquaria Griggs selected Kati Mize as her teacher for September's GCHS Rotary Student of the Month. Ricquaria is a marketing student seeking to become a designer and owner of her own fashion company. A Work Based Learning student, she is also active in school and in the community. One may often find her "running" the campus store.

The science department Rotary SOM for October is Memphis Smith. Pictured with his father, they recall that Mr. Smith's father was a charter member of our Greene & Putnam County Rotary Club. In Greensboro's Southland Jubileee, Memphis received first place for the antique car he rebuilt and restored. A definite entrepreneur, Memphis looks forward to a future in the U. S. military. He chose our local author and culinary teacher Dr. MaryAnn Bruno as his  teacher.
